With October just a few months away, now is the perfect time to hire event entertainment for your Halloween party. Whether you want to be mesmerised by contortionists, captivated by robots, or fascinated by puppets, at Covent Garden Entertainment, there is something for everyone.
In this article, we share some of our best Halloween entertainment for hire so you can organise a thrilling and unforgettable party for All Hallows’ Eve.
Sideshow Acts
Looking for something different and unusual? Consider booking a sideshow act to amaze guests with the daring and downright bizarre. These acts will linger long in the memory and add an extra dose of excitement to your spooky event.
Bloody Bones is a firm favourite for audiences looking to be horrified and fascinated in equal measure. Specialising in pain-defying performances, such as sword swallowing, fire eating, hammering nails into his nose, and even hanging weights by fish hooks from his eye sockets, this act never fails to be a big talking point.
Contortion
Contortionists are also a great option for Halloween events, mesmerising audiences with logic-defying flexibility and awe-inspiring shapes.
For instance, Pixie Le Knot is one of the most well-known (and flexible!) female contortionists in the UK, performing extreme backbends and movements that most other contortionists are unable to execute. She will make your guests reconsider the body-bending capabilities of the human body with her enchanting act. You may even recognise Pixie Le Knot from her appearance on the fantasy TV drama series Game of Thrones!
Robots
Planning a science fiction-themed Halloween party? Look no further than an electrifying robot act to liven up your event!
A high-tech robot, Electron is a surefire hit, complete with lasers, LED flashing lights, and atmospheric music to tantalise the eyes, ears, and minds of your guests. He offers a perfect photo opportunity, and with the additional options of a smoke machine and a character assistant, Electron is the ultimate talking point.
Stilt Walkers
Stilt walkers are a wonderful choice if you are looking to add the wow factor to your event. Make heads turn and jaws drop for an act that is larger-than-life and impossible to miss.
Calvos are a world-class act that incorporates cirque-style costumes and elegant contact juggling to entrance your audience. This pair of silver stilt walkers will tower over your event and leave a lasting impression, adding a touch of mystery and beguilement. Their slight inhuman looks make them perfect for a fun but weird roaming act at your Halloween event
Puppets
Puppetry is one of the oldest forms of entertainment, and the art form continues to thrill and excite to this day. We offer a range of puppet entertainment that will inject both theatre and wonder into your next Halloween event.
For example, Jurassic Puppets is a top interactive walkabout act, entertaining guests with massive dinosaur skeletons. Find the courage to stand next to a terrifying 20-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex, encounter two menacing Velociraptors, and evade the clutches of an intimidating Triceratops. These realistic puppets will immerse your guests in prehistoric wonderment.
Interested in something more alien and out-of-this-world? I-Puppets are a group of performers that roam your event and surprise the audience with swivelling eyeball heads and synchronised movements. Due to impressive engineering, these alien puppets have an excellent range of movement to entertain your guests, both high in the air and down on the ground. With atmospheric sounds and eyes that light up after dark, I-Puppets are a hypnotic and engaging team of puppeteers.
Family-Friendly Fun
Planning a family-friendly Halloween event? At Covent Garden Entertainment, we also offer a range of acts suitable for audiences of all ages.
Rustle is the perfect accompaniment to any autumnal event, including Halloween. He wears a costume decorated in autumn leaves, and his act features crystal ball juggling, dancing, beautiful classical music, and even an electric unicycle! His unique magical performance enamours both children and adults alike.
